Fidelity Marketing was created back in 1999 as a marketing company devoted to manage benefits for consumers. The concept was evolving to encompass the corporate market developing solutions that help companies to reward and withhold clients. Based on this concept, at Fidelity Marketing, we started to work with the financial and hospitality industries. In time, industries such as automotive, airlines, telephoning, consumption products were added, among others.
As the business grew in Mexico by the end of 2005, at Fidelity Marketing we started to expand our operations to Latin America to service multinational companies who wished to replicate the service in their subsidiaries. We began in Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Chile.
In 2006 we opened Brazil and Peru, in 2007 Ecuador, in 2008 Uruguay and in 2010 Paraguay. Regionally-wise, Fidelity Marketing develops different benefit and relationship marketing programs.
Since 2005, at Fidelity Marketing we started to assess technological options to strengthen our capacity to provide benefits at the sale point in such a more flexible way. As a result of such effort, a proprietary loyalty platform was developed with PCI certification that allows accumulating and redeeming rewards at the sale point, as well as obtaining discounts and specials for both banking cards and affinity cards.
This development allows us completing traditional loyalty programs with a network of affiliated commercial establishments that incentive the activation of cards and therefore, the profitability of the sponsor. The loyalty platform may be integrated to the terminals acquired by the bank enlarging the coverage of the program to any invoicing system in commercial establishments.
In 2011 taking advantage of our international clients’ portfolio, we opened an office in Palo Alto, California, to leverage technology in the American market. As of the second quarter of 2011, we continue at Fidelity Marketing with our expansion in Central America coordinating our development from our office in Costa Rica. At the same time and as a gate into the European market, we opened an office in Spain.
